Wavegarden Cove is a modular electromechanical system that generates up to 1000 waves per hour by moving water particles similar to ocean swells. It was the first bespoke wave generation technology for surfing and is the most sustainable in the industry (see study). At the push of a button, wave characteristics can be adjusted, making them accessible to beginners and professional surfers alike.

The waves are pumping in Sydney

URBNSURF Sydney, the eighth surf park that utilizes Wavegarden’s technology, has opened its doors this week. The new facility, now open to the public, features a 46-module Wavegarden Cove as well as two restaurants, a surf academy, leisure pool, skate park, surf store, and wellness center.
