This week I'm going to share the first in a series of episodes that I have specially called Fertility Success Principles. I'm going to be sprinkling these little tidbits throughout our regular scheduled programming.
Because having beaten the odds on my own fertility journey, despite a ridiculous history of failure, advanced maternal age, and basically having no reason on paper to believe I could actually get to this place, it has become a healthy obsession of mine to study what makes women truly successful on this journey.
While, indeed, every woman's journey is different, there is no question that there is a throughline, shared characteristics, that unite every woman that I've gotten to know who has beaten the odds, regardless of diagnosis, age, profession, where she is in the world, culture, language, you name it. What I've learned over 10 plus years of study and experience, I teach to my lovably type A, control freaky, top of their professional game, make no excuses, refuse to be a victim ladies, and I have the absolute thrill of watching them apply what they learn and create their own outstanding successes.
I literally have a front seat with a bird's eye view on a daily basis to fertility success. It makes me giddy to see my ladies make leaps and bounds on their journey, and the emails and text messages I get with pregnancy announcements, ultrasound photos, and insanely f*****g cute bump pics make me literally do a line dance in my office.
Oh my goodness, it is truly a sight to see. In each of these special Fertility Success Principle episodes, I'm going to share a little bit of that with you. You've heard me say this before and I will continue to say it because it's f*****g true. Success leaves clues. If you desire success, do what successful people do.
If you don't know what to do, get a mentor who has created the success you want, has proven they can help other people create that success, and have them teach you what they did. No smart woman wastes her time trying to reinvent the wheel. In this inaugural episode, I want to share with you a principle that is one I'm fairly certain we don't spend a ton of time thinking about on this journey, but it is foundational.
And it is integrity. Integrity to yourself, integrity to your vision, integrity to your values, integrity to your partnership, integrity to your spirituality. Integrity, integrity, integrity. Integrity is about doing what you say you are going to do. Integrity is about not cutting corners. Integrity is about owning up to your bullshit.
