Dear One,

I would love to invite you to spend a few hours with me in a very special quantum 'cafe'. Let's get our cups of tea and tune in, way in and then way out across the globe!

Let's connect our hearts with the world as a whole. We will be guided by a map of our beautiful world. With paint and canvas, we will connect with this place where we all live.

We, especially those in the United States, can be so focused on our own place that we don't really see the whole...but I think we could really benefit from the connection! And, I think we can make it a soulful experience together.

You don't need any art experience, and what we make is more about how it feels than what it ends up looking like! Let's bring the eyes of a child and fall in love with the world... Shall we? I'm in!

About inviting guest Intentional Creativity Teacher, Adriana Medina, to teach with me:

There are lots of things I love about this work with Intentional Creativity and the Guild (Color of Woman graduates). And one of my favorite things is working with the women who have come through the Color of Woman quest and are ready for what is coming next. And the great adventure which happens in community with the likes of me and my Muse! To see Adriana's face when I invited her to teach with me, was priceless! Shock, joy and yes!

Adriana was a Spanish teacher in Mexico before moving to the US. She moved to Baltimore in 1997 to study a Master's program in Intercultural Communication. She completed her Ph.D. in 2004 in Language, Literacy and Culture, with a focus on Intercultural Communication. She became a professor of Intercultural Communication and Spanish in 2006. Besides teaching classes in academic settings and doing research and publishing on intercultural topics, she has facilitated trainings in intercultural communication, cultural competency and diversity since 2004. Adriana will be teaching us along with the Intentional Creativity process in topics dealing with culture, stereotypes and compassionate connection with those outside of our homeland. Let's wake up with soul!

Here's what Shiloh Sophia will be teaching...

LESSON ONE : Colorful Prayers of Intention

We will begin with an abstract background, filling our cavas with COLOR, and infusing this color with our intentions for connection. Later in our process we will use another color to begin to block out the basic shapes, and there is no experience needed. Our image will be inspired by the actual map but be more abstract. This isn't about being exact in our art, but the feeling we have and the respect we feel while creating for the earth and all of creation.

LESSON TWO : Experience Quantum Connection

We will gather in quantum Red Thread connection through guided visualization and meditation. We will read the names of 195 countries as part of our experience. Practicing compassion through feeling pure loving presence for each and every place in the world. Using our imagination and the map to see each place and become more conscious of our own orientation within the world map. As well as connect in Red Thread with our sisters participating in World Soul.

LESSON THREE : Respecting Global Community

We will share essential ingredients that we have discovered through our creative emergent global community - while still being one that initiates in the United States. Explore ways we can connect authentically and intentionally as we continue to learn how to create respectful connections. As well as one of the most important things you can do where you live, to honor the original ancestors. Explore your own 'blind spots' in how you think about 'the world'

This is a map featuring Intentional Creativity® Teachers worldwide - when we strarted 9 years ago, we only had 18 dots in the United States. We are growing slowly and steadily, but with profound intention to share access to self expression in the world. In 2020 we will have training in Scandinavia, Mexico and Australia. LESSON FOUR : Awakening Compassion for those you do not know and may never know

Shiloh Sophia's 'awakening' to the suffering of the world happened at the age of 23 through her art practice and the teachings of Intentional Creativity. When her teacher Sue Hoya Sellars suggested she send her love out to those she cared about the most, something profound happened that shaped the rest of her life and the powerful art movement she founded over 25 years ago. She will tell her story as well as share with you a way to connect, without being overwhelmed, taking it into your body or onto you as your own suffering.

LESSON FIVE : Making Your Map into Art to Share

While our creative process is not focused on product, Shiloh Sophia will share with you how to complete your painting, name your painting and write a poem or story from your painting. Chances are your painting will make a wonderful piece of art for your home, office, studio - or even a holiday gift.

Together we will also be sharing in the Red Thread Cafe classroom and be supported by Intentional Creativity Teachers in our process. Take as long as you need to complete and share with us about your experience in our on-going global community.

Are you open to awakening an experience of the world soul within you?

Have you felt 'disconnected' from the larger context of the world?
