Every student deserves a high-quality computer science education. But too often, race, ethnicity, gender identity, income-level, or zip-code determine who has access to a high quality computer science education.
CSforCA is on a mission to expand access to CS teaching and learning opportunities so that every student is prepared to thrive in college, careers, and to participate in our democracy.

Our Solution
CSforCA is a coalition of K12 educators, nonprofit organizations, higher education, and industry leaders, who believe that research, data and classroom experience can inform policy solutions that play a critical role in ensuring that all California students have access to a high-quality CS education.
Today’s students need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of our increasingly digitized world. That’s why we advocate for long-term, systemic change to ensure that all educators across our state are equipped to teach CS.
