Hey, gorgeous. If you want success on your fertility journey, you've got to have the mindset for it. It's time to kick fear, negativity, doubt, shame, jealousy, and the whole clown car of low vibe fertility journey BS to the curb. I'm your host, Roseanne Austin, Fertility Mindset Master. Former prosecutor and recovering type A control freak perfectionist, I use the power of mindset to get pregnant naturally and have my baby boy at 43, despite years of fertility treatment failure.

I help women across the globe beat the odds on their fertility journey, just like I did. Get ready for a quick hit of confidence, joy, feminine badassery, and loads of hell yes for your fertility journey. It's time to get fearless, baby. Fearlessly Fertile. Let's do this. Welcome to the Fearlessly Fertile podcast, episode 44, welcoming the new year wisely.

Loves, I am absolutely delighted that for the past two episodes, I have come to you on the eve of a celebration. This time, it's Welcoming 2020. Not only is this a new year, it's a new decade. Let that sink in. It's a whole new decade, mama. It's a span of ten years in our lives that can be so full of promise.

And, as my beloved Tony Robbins says, We often overestimate what we can get done in one year and underestimate what we can do in ten. The message in that is life, like this journey, is a process. And frankly, our estimation of time and when things, quote unquote, should happen is kind of bullshit. At best, most of us are guessing, and in the end, the most awesome of miracles come in divine time.

It isn't until we look back that we can see just how divine that timing was. That being said, I want to spend a few minutes helping you set yourself up for welcoming the new year wisely. The lazy temptation is to look back on 2019 with an eye for what you lost, what didn't happen, or the struggle. I want you to be smarter than that.

I want you to think about why you love 2019. That is what a woman who beats the odds is thinking. That's where she puts her precious energy. What can you love about this year that is coming to a close? This is an incredibly important and intelligent question to ask, because a wise woman is always harvesting lessons.

From her peaks, valleys, and everywhere in between. Everything that presented itself to you this year was a gift. If you're willing to see it that way. The up moments show how good life can be. The down moments can remind you of your resilience. The stuff in between can be a time of preparation and equilibrium.

It's all good. None of this stands for the proposition that pain isn't painful or that we should somehow numb out the reality that we have hurts in this life. Not at all. It is an invitation, however, to get out of the sad sack victimhood that many people choose to stay in when hardship or pain shows up.

To be clear about the other end of the spectrum, This is not a commercial for seeking out pain just for the sake of having pain. Because masochism or martyrdom is somehow good for you. Fuck that. No one needs that. All of this is simply about having a healthy appreciation for everything that has shown up in your life in 2019.

Let me give you some examples. What can you love about a friend turning their back on you? How can you love that an IVF cycle was cancelled? What is the silver lining you can find in a loss? How do you choose to look back on the investments you've made in your dreams this year? What do you love about who you are becoming?

Let’s prepare you to start 2020 like the Fearless Mama-To-Be you are. I will walk you through a journey-changing exercise that will empower you to welcome 2020 wisely and say goodbye to 2019 with grace. If you want to get a sense of how women who beat the odds think, don’t miss this! xoxo
