About the TWIBC Center

 
The best part of being a woman in business is the community of like-minded, like-hearted people you meet and share your entrepreneurial journey with. For a long time, I have wanted a place to invite women to come and connect, network and deliver their massive value through workshops and events. The doors are finally open and you are invited to see what we have created.
 
Think of a fancy boutique hotel, that is both elegant and warm at the same time, where you are personally greeted by someone who cares that you have a positive and uplifting experience. That is what I have sought to create at our Thriving Women in Business Center. Join us for an event or rent our space to host your own.

Renting the Center

The Thriving Women in Business Center is available for women to rent by the day or half-day to host their workshops, meetings or events. You are welcome to host entertainment, parties or receptions at the TWIB Center. Do note that the TWIB Center is a smoke-free and alcohol-free space. Our space holds up to 40 people theater style or up to 25 with 5ft round tables. We provide tablecloths, water, and glasses, coffee and tea service for your participants. A screen for your slides or Powerpoint is provided, however, you must bring your own projector or rent ours at an additional expense. There is a music system in the center.
 
Address: The TWIB Center is located at 3115 Clement St. between, 32nd and 33rd Avenue. We are up a flight of stairs.
 
Parking: Parking at the TWIB Center is currently good. There is street parking and across the street, there is a supermarket shopping center and pharmacy. Currently, there is not a supermarket tenant. We advise our clients to park on the north side away from the pharmacy, where there are several parking spaces.
 
Dining: The TWIB Center is located above the Garden Café where sandwiches and other food is available. There is an Asian restaurant next to the Center and a Thai restaurant on the corner. The pharmacy across the street also has several grab-and-go options.

Rates

Rates: Effective June 1, 2018, the cost to rent the TWIB Center is $350 for a half day (up to 4 hours) and $550.00 for a full day (up to 8 hours). This time includes your set-up and breakdown time. If there is no other event before or after, you may arrive or depart without restriction. If there is another event before or after, it will be necessary for you to keep to the times provided at the time of booking.
 
When you book the TWIB Center and have been approved for rental, you can list your event on our event calendar and we will send it out with our bi-weekly event listings. Look for our email on how to list your event once your booking request is approved.team

Be on the lookout for an email confirmation once we APPROVE your booking. Please keep in mind- your date is not officially booked until you receive the confirmation email.

3. List your event:

Follow the directions in your email confirmation to list your event on our community calendar. Once you list your event, we will help promote it throughout our social media channels as an added bonus!
