She comes to us by way of Princeton University, and is here to help us do everything. We call her the Director of Donor Happiness, and she is my personal Director of Happiness -- you’ll see why, if you put our office in your travels!
Everyone and their sister asks why Olga has a Russian name. The simple answer: when her father was a teen, he was sent to work in a factory far from home. It was scary and lonely, and a warm-hearted woman named Olga helped him and the other boys with cooking and house cleaning. In gratitude, our Olga was given her name.
Here’s Olga, in our office in Media, sporting a dress by our investee, tonlé, a negative-waste and Fair Trade company producing all of its clothes out of fabrics discarded by other clothing factories.
Have a great summer!
