About us.

Our Mission.

Businesses are faced with commercially important decisions all the time, often without reliable data to guide their choices. Undertaking research to inform these decisions used to be slow, cumbersome and expensive. Glow is changing that, one opinion at a time. Our mission is to democratise access to insights by making market research faster, more transparent and more accessible.

We want businesses to be more informed, so they can make better decisions to support their customers, stakeholders and the planet.

Glow Team.

The Glow team is made up of a diverse group of people from multiple backgrounds: researchers, insights experts, analysts, project managers, marketers, entrepreneurs and more.

What brings us together is the desire to make research accessible to all, so that businesses are empowered to make the right decisions. We value curiosity, collaboration, honesty, positivity and integrity. We go the extra mile so you don’t have to.

Glow is a proud participant in the Data For Good movement, a group of people, businesses and governments that are using data to drive programs of action to build a better world.

Sustainability commitment.

At Glow, we are committed to contributing to a more sustainable planet. To achieve this, we have implemented several ongoing programs aimed at improving our performance across a range of environmental, social and governance areas. Our key initiatives are outlined below against the relevant United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

People.

We are devoted to improving gender representation and reducing inequalities within our team. Although we are meeting our goals on several diversity dimensions, we are still behind our goal of gender representation. We are actively working to improve our diversity by implementing more inclusive hiring processes.

We strive to provide a work environment that enables our team to be their best selves and deliver their best work. Our key initiatives include flexible and remote working practices, mental wellbeing support, subsidized gym memberships, and matched contribution training budgets. We regularly assess our progress using employee engagement and feedback surveys.

Planet.

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. Our team works both from home and in shared working spaces at The Commons, a certified B Corp with a range of environmental and social programs in place. Our research software produces carbon through our use of electricity in software development, platform usage, and data storage functions. We have calculated our global platform-driven carbon footprint and offset it by more than 100% through the ongoing planting of native bio-diverse forests in partnership with environmental charity Greenfleet. While we have not yet conducted a business-wide carbon impact assessment, we plan to do so in the next financial year.

Prosperity.

We are committed to promoting sustainable patterns of consumption. We have invested over $500k worth of resources in a program called Catalyst that provides businesses insight into consumer concerns and expectations about environmental and social issues. We have also created a metric called Social Responsibility Score™ that encourages businesses to become more sustainable by allowing them to measure their social and environmental performance in the eyes of stakeholders. From a Glow governance perspective, we regularly capture employee feedback on management performance, including transparency and ethical practices.
